Well the bolt on Mods were not enough, so I decided to go crazy and build a wild race car. One that I could cruise around car shows, and eventually start Drag racing with.
I knew that with the setup I wanted that I was going to need some professional help with this one, so I worked with Combination Motorsports in Las Vegas. At the time they had a good reputation with LT1/LS1 impala's/Camaro's and Firebirds. I wanted this car done right the first time so no expense would be spared.
Since I have always loved Supercharged cars I decided to go with a 408 stroker with a Procharger headunit.
To complete this vehicle was way beyond doing the simple weekend bolt on's. Lots of custom fabrication need to be done to make this setup work properly, which you will see in the photos to come.
To support this kind of setup the entire car needed a make over. From new supension components, fuel/electrical system, Rear end/transmission, etc. Your car is only as good as your weakest link so I wanted to make sure everything was capable of withstanding the setup I was having built.
Full BMR Suspension throughout, K-Member, Arms, subframe Connectors, struts, Springs all replaced.
