For sale is a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500, 4 door sedan, 352 V-8. This is a unique car in that most of the Galaxies you do see are the XL 2 door models. This is the only 4 door I've seen anywhere around here, certainly in this condition. I purchased the car in April 2004. Most of the mechanical has been replaced or rebuilt. Off the top of my head: re-built carburetor, engine overhaul, new dual exhaust, new front coil springs, new gear box, recent brakes & tires. I put in new carpet throughout, and new seat covers on both bench seats. I also have the shop manual (which will tell you how to fix anything & everything) and facts & features book, along with catalogs. Included is a set of the chrome front fender spears, un-installed, and a better quality un-installed black center console unit. Just never got around to putting them in.

Some more about the car...she drives like a dream, great car for cruising around. Power steering and the original factory air. Another unique feature is that it is a push-button start, with the button under the left side of the dash. Original keys, with a new “old” set of spares. Put in a new trunk liner, in that huge trunk! I put on the fluted side view mirrors which I think look really cool, and the tail lights are that unique star burst shape. Radio has been updated to a CD player, with 2 pioneer speakers in the front (where there used to be 1) and wire run to the back where 2 more speakers can go.

I hate to get rid of her, but I rent and don't really have the space for it. It's a great car to finish off and a fun car to work on! (this is also the police car from the Andy Griffith Show) Always kept covered and indoor during the winter, car cover included. Valued at around $7,000. Looking to get something near that...will entertain offers. Any questions just ask, and thanks for looking!

Looks like it just came off the showroom floor. Don't see many that look that original. Nice car!
