This page has some of my suspension/brake/wheel/tire/past appearance mods:
Just for grins - I tried the car for a while without the rear spoiler, but I had sealing issues with the temporary plugs I used. The OEM spoiler left pretty deep marks in the paint, and I wasn't really happy with that, so I wound up permanently shaving the spoiler about 6 months after these pics.

Pics of the Pedders installation:
Here's a pic of the kit - kinda blurry:

The washers are there to set the amount of caster - I set it up for another +1/4 of caster - but could have gone to up to +2.
Comparing old and new:

Here's where the bushings go (forward mount of front suspension, under the radiator support):

Now the Hotchkis installation:
First I did the rears, as they were easier. I had to drop the rear differential on the car to get to the bolts holding the bar in place. One fun thing was that the rear diff carrier bolts were torque-to-yield, so I had to go get new bolts, too.
Here's a shot of the two bars:

And the final install:

I did the fronts soon after - and like the rears, I had to drop the front subframe. I also had to undo the tranny fluid cooler lines, so there was some mess to it too.
Here's another comparo shot:

As well as the new Pedders end-links for the front:

Here's the bar in place - and you can see the trans coolant hard lines hanging.

And the end-link in place, too:

I currently have the bars set at full-stiff front (3/3) and second-stiffest rear (2/4). I do have a mild SOTP flatter feel; I'll have to see more when I drive it some.

Pics of the original brake rotor/pad installation:
Powerslot front rotors with Delco Powerstop C5 size pads:
Here's also a comparison of pads - stock GTO on left, C5 on right

I always wondered why GM decided to use less pad material on a car that weighs more than the 'Vette...
Starting here:

Rotors on and calipers painted (as of 8/4/06):

Now after putting the pads in and wheels back on:

Of course, that was then - this is now (6/20/08):

My "custom" Monaro calipers:

And the bracket, pads and caliper going on:

With Russell stainless braided lines fore and aft...

Installing my old "Autocross" grilles - when I still had them:

7 screws and a couple tugs gets the front fascia off. Having a pair of extra hands helps with this removal/reinstall immensely...

I liked how the grilles are slightly off from the paint on the car - made them stand out a bit more. It's too bad that they wound up wrecked - they're out of production now, and probably impossible to get.
And here's a shot of the OEM grilles...

My install of the 2004 "Sports Appearance Package" - put together by GM to help clear the last of the 2004's:

It includes the grilles (seen above), as well as this hood and a new spoiler, which I chose not to install.

Since I drive my GTO year-round, I deciced to get a set of Monaro mudflaps, purchased from Hunter Holden in Australia. These are actual GM parts, shipped in from down-under...

I also decided on (or had decided for me... lol) doing a conversion to a Monaro VZ look - so I had this shipped from JHP Inc. - also from Australia.

Makes for a nice aftermarket look with OEM GM parts...
