Stupid Mod #1:
Had no way of keeping the fuel cap from off the paint - don't know why it'd bother me, but it did. So I added one of those 3M hooks on the cover, and use it for holding the cap:

Speed Inc's CAGS Eliminator:

Looking upward at the side of the transmission housing - it's basically a resistor bypassing the CAGS mechanism.

Installing the B&M Shifter:

Removing the shift boot and weather seal... visible here is the dreaded early-run "black weather boot"

The white plastic dust cover of the stock shifter mechanism had rusted-in bolts, which I needed to eventually cut off to get access to the mechanism.

With the new shifter in place (and held in with alot of red Locktite) - the black weather boot was reversed in direction to allow the full range of shifter motion.

And here's a little with engine dress-up...

I was having some fun with my airbrush and decided to paint a new set of FRC's:

Got a spare Corvette set off eBay, then covered the lettering.

Then painted the FRC's black and added some flames.

Here, I'm test-fitting the right side

What's next?

As for power mods, there's these:

I'm waiting to get these back from a machine shop to put them on... Might have to add roller rockers and new springs, too!
