HELLO AND WELCOME TO MY PAGE

I have always had a passion for nice sounding, hot cars. I learnt to drive in a HB Torrie, later owned a UC torrie, tried out a few of the newer cars but I have returned to the Torana because its not just a car it is a lifestyle.
I joined the Holden Torana Club of S.A. in March of 04, but started going on club cruises in Jan 04. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time cruising with the club, and have met some top people.
Ruby has only a 173 motor but previous owner added a trick cam which brought her up to near a 202. Beautiful extractors make her purr like a kitten, but kick her in the guts and she has a growl of a tiger. She currently has a 350 Holley which we will probably replace with something smaller to get better economy, currently I am getting 200>220kms to 40lt.(update 21.5.04, we have put stock stromberg back into her, heaps better.) Lowered springs add to her shy sleek demeanor. Nice straight body and interior plus a very neat set of mags with 215's on back and 195's on front. She is auto, only because i'm gettin lazy in my old age, LOL.
I will need to get body done soon as she has a bit of cancer spreading, also as the paint job is the original one it is starting to get hairline cracks and bubbles, but she is beautiful in my eyes.(update 22/11/04 Ruby in for restoration page 10.)
I have heaps of photos to put up and will continue to add more. They will be from club cruises and off street drags I attend. I so want to put Ruby down the 1/4 mile at A.I.R but i would have to wait till i win Lotto, so I can do it with no one watchin. I like to watch, but hate being watched.
Ruby loves to show off and is my daily driver.
