I bought this 76 Cougar XR7 pampered beauty a year ago in Middle Tennessee. The owner died and her daughter didn't want to keep an "old car". A local car dealer bought it from the daughter and kept it for himself two years before I saw it. Only 52,000 miles on her and she is in perfect condition. The original owner had her Ziebart rust-proofed when she first bought it. I am working on the 351M engine and have added a Edelbrock thunder series 4 barrel carb with chromed dual feed fuel lines, Edelbrock performer intake manifold, Hooker Super Competition headers, new exhausts and performance mufflers, new air conditioner, to go along with the new radiator, hoses, belts etc. An Edelbrock chrome air cleaner, Uniroyal Tiger Paws all around. The work continues but she runs wonderfully......
