So, its November 22nd and over the past two days, I have pulled a 5 speed out of a car in a junkyard, taken out my old 4 speed, installed the 5 speed in my car...ya a lot of work but its worth it, I'll get pictures up soon (new factory 5 speed emblem and 5 speed shift knob too!)

I recently purchased a few things from motorsport auto including the following:

-*MSA 3-2 headers
-*Motorsport turbo exhaust
-*Cold air intake with K&N filter
-*60mm throttle body
-*Crane PS-40 high performance coil
-*Taylor Hi-Pro spark plugs-blue :)
-*SplitFire dual tip spark plugs

Check this out....I was browsing through the datsun parts on ebay and I came across someone that took a picture of my car to use for selling a K&N filter...my car is famous now

I've gotten in the coil, plug wires and plugs and put them on...here are some pics...

I have finished installing the new headers and exhaust, it sounds pretty good...really loud haha..but here are a couple pics.

This is what the engine looks like with the intake and exhaust manifold removed, I can still see some factory Nissan engine block paint!

I am restoring one with same color combo., Champange w/pearl white interior. Want to keep mine original, sell me your white interior if you are to replace it with black.

Love the car! I'm picking up a '78 Z this week and plan to do some work on it. The paint is shot but the body and engine are solid.

Nice Z Chris, I have a 78 280 and live about 1.5 hours east of Nashville. Still working on getting mine painted before spring, it is completely in primer at the present. I like the silver color yours has, but I think I will go back the original wine red. The company I work for has a sales office in Brentwood and I drive down about twice a month. I plan on driving the Z down a few times when the weather fairs up, so maybe I will see ya around Nash Town in the Z.

Take care!

Love your car. Hope you're still progressing. Have you completed the swap to black interior? If so, I may b interested in buying the white interior pieces.
