Being on the road a lot, I had really been looking forward to Satellite radio finally coming to Canada!

I chose to go with XM and bought a second hand SKYFi unit. Primarily because I like the SKYFi best of all and I would have gone with the SKYFi 2, but I wanted the red display!

I debated with where to install it. I know that they sell kits you can use for glueing it to the dash or attaching it to the vents, but I always find that a little tacky. So I decided to hang it just beside the rear view mirror. It's easy to view while driving (since you're alwasy looking at the song titles) and doesn't get any sun glare up there either. I like the way that it's up and out of the way.

I made my own bracket and lay all the wires in behind the interior trim so it's a clean install.

I also got the Micro Antenna rather then the larger one that comes with the kit normally. For location of install I tucked it just infront of the rear spoiler above the rear window. It's so small that it's very un-intrusive and almost un-noticeable if you're not looking for it!

Our display, with a twist! - Like I said, I'm a pretty big fan of Subaru!
