This is my 1997 Subaru Legacy 2.5L GT Silver Wagon!

Hard to tell that this Subi is sitting at just over 340,000kms!

I absolutely love Subaru! Have for a long time. I have made a lot of modifications to my car with JDM parts from Japan. Here are some of the mods. - Don't forget to check out the Interior Mods on Page 2 and Page 3!

JDM Projector Head Lights by KOITO
Other then some wiring modifications, these were pretty much just plug and play. I modified the signal sockets to function with 1157 bulbs rather then the 1156 bulbs that were supposed to go in them. That gives me parking lights and turn signals.

They took some effort since they don't actually just Plug and Play into the same spot as the old stock ones that came with the car. Not only did they require wiring changes, but the bumper had to be cut out to make the opennings large enough for the new ones. I also had to make special mounting brackets for them.

Normally, the fog lights on the extreem sides are supposed to come on with the turn signals, but I wired them in so that they can be controlled seperately. On winding roads they really make a great difference because you can see around the corner before the headlights catch up.

Who says the car can't also be used for fun! That's the whole point of AWD isn't it? Actually this picture was taken just after getting stuck in a mud hole that was a lot softer then I thought is was. I didn't think I was going to get out! That would have been cute!

These ones were taken after hunting season this year.
Unfortunately the rain washed a lot off before I got the pictures!

JDM Side Markers and STI Emblems
The Side Markers are very easy to install. I wired them in parrallel with the turn signals. The moulding peice pops out and the hole is already there for the new lights. Looks sharp!!!

GoodYear Assurance TripleTred Tires
These are not really high performance tires, but they give it that look! Check out the tread!
They are also a 130,000km tire which, in my case, is a good thing since I do a lot of mileage. These tires are great rain tires and ride very quiet. I won't be using them in the winter, (dont' want to ruin the mags) but they're supposed to be all seasons.
I also oversized them a bit. They are 225 50 R16 rather then the standard 205's. It gives a little more width on the pavement, but requires some 1/2" spaces in the back to keep them from rubbing on the shocks.

Although these were harder to get on then I thought they would be (old ones very really stuck on), I really like the effect. They get rid of the orange and red and replace it with white and red, but still amber when lite. The center garnish says LEGACY instead of SUBARU too.
