These are the pictures of what remains of my jeep after catching on fire in new bedford, Ma.
6-6-06 UPDATE! We got her a new body! an 87 wrangler body tub for $200. We're looking for a junker with good fenders and a hood and the remaining plastics and wiring and other crap like that. She's still got a ways to go, but we're getting there!

Nice CJ! It's always great to see fellow CJ owners putting elbow grease and time into what is truly the the best Jeeps. Nothing beats a well built CJ! I have an 84 CJ that I have been working on for the past 4 years. If you get a chance to check mine out,..let me know what you think. Keep up the great work.

That is one sorry looking ride; It looks like you had done a great job working on it, 5 !!!!! Stars. I started working on my 1984 CJ-7 Jeep several years ago and it has since turned out to look pretty nice also, whats going to be your next modification? Keep me posted! P.S. Please take two seconds and check out my jeep and give me a rating!!!.... OIIO

Wow. That must have been an inferno. Was it a fuel caused fire or electric? Very sorry for you.

Hey man that really sucks. Sorry. Must be an awful feeling. How did it happen?

Sorry dude, I know what that feels like. My old 73 CJ5 caught fire, forcing me to restore it once more about 20 years ago. You'll find a YJ tub an easy swap with only a few minor adjustments. I did that for my current Jeep (88 YJ tub on an 83 CJ frame).
