My name is Raymond Ramos. I recently purchased an Isuzu Axion 2004. I installed my 2 sets of Focal Utopia 136W in the front and back doors, I have a Focal Twin Lux boom box with two 11" woofers on the back. Both the woofers and the others speakers are powered by two Memphis AMPs and a Boss Audio Systems two FARAD capacitor. Right after I purchased my Axiom, I find out that some "Braindead" auto designer engineer, designed the head units for Isuzu Axiom with all the air conditioner buttoms attched to it, making the air conditioner and the head unit one a single piece unit. I am stucked to that head unit. I did some reseach and found a site called www.carstereohelp.com and pay them a call. The person that help me was not only friendly but he helped other people in similar stuation with cars like Honda with the factory 6 CD changer. The courses of action I was offered were 1) Get rid of the ash tray at the bottom of the display panel, install the radio and cover it with a fabricated piece of fibeglass for $700 and display the factory and my head unit at the same time. 2) Course of action number two was to install the radio in the glove compartment. Ok, I do not want to have my aftermarket stereo installed at the bottom of the dash board, nor I want install my radio in the inside the glove compartment. Did anybody knows who can fabricate a wiring harness specially for this scenario, any customizing ideas?? Any help out there?? Thanks very respectfully Ray.
