Suspension is also a work in progess. Right now I'm equipped with subframe connectors, strut tower brace, 2 pt K-Member brace, and bbk C/C plates. For the rear I have the Torque Arm and PanHard bar set-up! It's a work of art!

The words of today are: Maximum Motorsports!

H&R Race springs for the front should compliment the Torque Arm springs in the rear. Bilstein at all for corners will aid with the road conditions.

Decided to go Coil over! The spring I went with is the 10" 350lb Hypercoil spring from MM. They build a coil over kit just for Biltein Struts and shocks.

Once thought of as a race car only item, coil-over suspensions are now considered the hot set-up for any highly tuned street car. The combination of incredible handling with great ride quality is what one expects from a world class car. With a Maximum Motorsports Coil-Over Conversion Kit you will have the no-compromise handling you demand without paying a penalty in comfort. Switching to an MM Coil-Over suspension system is a win-win choice for any Mustang!
Going coil over required me to install stronger CC plates. I'm sure you can guess what company I got them from.

Maximum Motorsports rear lower control arms plant your rubber firmly to the road. Our design will give you more traction with none of the poor handling characteristics common with other aftermarket control arms.
At the chassis end: The 3-piece urethane bushing has a hard inner portion to prevent fore and aft deflection, and softer outer portions to allow the angular motion necessary to prevent bind.
At the axle end: We use a Teflon-lined spherical bearing to provide the greater angular motion required to prevent suspension bind. This also positively locates the rear axle.

The MM Panhard Bar eliminates the Mustangs unstable and unpredictable behavior while cornering near its limit. This feeling is caused by the rear of the car steering itself without any input from the driver. Rear end steering is caused by the sideways movement of the rear axle.

The ultimate rear suspension for your Mustang is now available from Maximum Motorsports. Installing the MM Torque-arm will greatly improve your four-link suspension by converting it to a three-link design. Your car will have vastly improved traction, both in a straight line and when exiting corners. Your car will be much more stable and predictable, and you can get on the throttle sooner and harder while accelerating out of a corner.
In the stock four-link design, the rear upper control arms are trying to do two jobs at once. One is to control axle wind-up, the other is to locate the axle side to side. When pushed to the performance limit, the upper control arms dont do either job very well. Our Torque-arm suspension system separates the functions of the suspension componentseach component has only one job, and is designed to perform that one function with no compromises. The MM Torque-arm controls axle rotation much better than the upper control arms. In addition, the Panhard Bar has the sole job of locating the axle side to side, which it also does better than the upper control arms. The lower control arms primarily have the job of thrusting the car forward under acceleration. The MM Torque-arm suspension system allows complete removal of the rear upper control arms and the quad shocks. The resulting three-link design will articulate freely, even during extreme cornering, acceleration and braking.

The free-moving three-link design has so much more traction that the grip at the front of the car will now be the limiting factor (understeer). You should now raise the rear spring rate to increase the rear roll resistance, which takes some cornering load off the front. To meet your needs, Maximum Motorsports has determined the rear spring to match your front spring rate. These selected rear springs will give you better handling and improved ride quality with your MM Torque-arm suspension system.

Torque box Reinforcements should be part of any Stang, stock or modified.
BRAKE UPGRADE DONE! Sept 19,2004
Front upgraded with 91 crown vic calipers, 73mm steel pistons. Stainless Steel brake lines added front and back.
Turbocoupe calipers in rear.
Brackets from Northracecars.com allow me to use my stock alxes!
These rims will show the new brakes off better. Just waiting for the tires. 17x8 up front and 17x9's in the back. They'll be fitted with 235/45 and 275/40 Yokohama avs es100's.

Even thought I just upgraded the brakes I'm about to do it again. This time with the M2300K kit. Time for some new rims too.

I sold the kit in favor to start my turbo project. Pics will come soon when the material gets in.
