I made this page seperate for my dad because my pages where accumulating too many pics.

Well some reason I am having a problem uploading the pics to the site so here is a link to the original site.

Here Is my Dad's 1966 Mercury Monterey 2 door sedan he bought from an old lady that had bought it new. We got it for $200 with 34,000 actual miles all original just had some damage to the right front of the car.

So we told everyone we knew to keep an eye out for a parts car. About half a year later our cousin in Texas found us a parts car we could get whatever we wanted off of it for $250. So my dad and my mom went to Texas and brought back the front cap. But the fender we needed was pretty bad on it also.

We went ahead and set the front cap on there and took the fender off and tried to hammer it out some more but it still took way too much bondo to get it straight. So we continued our search.

Then about a year and a half later while my Dad was on his way back from his sister's house in Arkansas he found another one the guy wanted $500 for the whole car. So he came on home and picked me and the trailer up and we went after the car 4 hours away.

It still had the original 410 in it so we decided to use this motor for his car. After we got it home in 2 days we had it looking like this.

So now I need to get busy on his car and paint it.

Plans for his car.
Rebuild engine and tranny.
Little bigger cam.
Repaint white.
Redo Interior.
Use the same disc brake conversion used on the Galaxie.

Nice project to work on, you should post a link to your original site as well. BTW, too many pictures? I'm approaching 500 pics on mine!
