coming soon..

the car on the day i bought it.. still sparkly and shiny.. no wear or tear..
poxy but nervous 1 liter 16 valve engine.. outputs 79 hp
not quite the ideal package: 6jx14" steel wheels, firestone firehawk 700 185/60 r14 tyres, ugly wheel caps, and a real high suspension (needs to be lowered by at least 30 mm); this is what comes with the car. also note the mirror housings, bumper and lateral rubbing strips, lower sills and also door handles need to be color-coded (although the black color hides that pretty well)
hmm.. these 6 1/2jx16" san marino wheels are driving me nuts! and the smoked indicators aren't bad too.. don't u think? maybe in the near future.. (photo of polo GT)
black is hard to keep clean..
this car was made in brazil, which is nothing like the european ones, i have to say the car is well equipped on the interior: ac, anti-theft with interior monitoring, central locking with keyless entry, power windows, electro-hydraulic steering, surround speakers, vanity mirrors, but lacks basic standard equipment such as abs, esp and airbags
since i got the car almost a year ago.. i did four things only: installed a blaupunkt palm beach c51 head unit; installed front foglights and operated the rear one (yes believe it or not, rear foglight was there but there was no position for it in the light switch!); replaced rear light clusters with new ones with white indicators; and replaced a smashed wheel cap!
more to follow.. very soon..
almost three years now.. replaced the palm beach c51 with a blaupunkt bahamas mp34 head unit (not shown).. the mp3 player is proving much better.. but mileage is raking up!

at least the foglights are ok and looking nice
