Memorial Day Weekend update 2008: I just got 3/4 ton axles to throw under my Blazer. I am looking into 6" or 8" Suspension lift and maybe a body lift plans call for some Big Swampers and a strong stock 350 SB I picked up. Possible Big Block or 383 stroker planned for sometime in the next year. I will get new pics up sometime soon hopefully.

This is a Picture of my 1981 Chevy K-5 BLazer. It's kinda ugly because I haven't come up with the $$$$ to paint it yet.

The tires are 35x12.50x15 BFGoodrich M/T's, and some basic chrome rims round out the package. It has the stock 305 engine, Rebuilt Turbo 350 tranny, & 208 Transfer Case.

I almost forgot to mention that I just got some very long "Thrush Turbo Glass Packs" put on.There pretty loud and they sound Bad Ass, but performance wise they kinda blow.

Don't get me wrong, This Old Beast can still Sling Mud with the best of them..I luv my old beast but that engine is getting tired along with some of the other components

I am hoping to get some new 36" or 37" tires along with a 1" or 2" Body Lift.

I'm also hoping to upgrade to a 350 or 400 Chevy Small Block in the future.

It has a 6" SkyJacker Suspension lift with blocks in the rear.It has pretty worn out GAB shocks I would like to replace with new Rancho or Pro Comp Shocks.

*Any input is greatly appreciated*

Burly rig. I love the older Blazers. They were made to dive into mud pits. Great truck, I say don't worry about a paint job. You can't see the paint once the truck is covered in mud any way right?
