Hi this is my 73 dodge dart swinger. We got it from a local car dealer for 900 bucks. It was origonaly a tx car so it had very little rust, wich is hard to find in norther minnesota. Anyways the car itself has 63,000 miles give or take a few. It has a 318,727 combo. We did all the work ourselves over a period of 5 years, i know its not perfect but i hope you like it.And if you have the time feel free to post.
Heres a front shot of my car. The bumpers were pretty beat up, so we decided to sand blast them and paint them black. And since the bumpers were black we painted the grill and head light beasels black as well. I think it tuned out pretty nice, i wasn't shure if it would look good at first but i think it looks pretty slick.
Here is another backend shot, i washed it up for ya so you don't have to deal with the dust unlike my other shot.
Here's the lowly 318, or mighty depends on how you look at it. I personaly am not very happy with it,the power is, how should i put this, somewhat abesent. Other wise it is a good little motor. About all that we have done to it is paint the intake and valve covers, and Add a 600 eddlebrock carb. So its pretty much stock. I don't plan on putting any more money into it. I'm thinking about building a 360, or buying a crate 360 for it. Either way i want more power, well i guess its more off a need then a want. Anyways the 318 will go on the shelf, and stay there to keep the car a numbers matching car. We'll i found a 72 340 and its going in this winter, i hope to get some shots of it up for ya when i start working on it.
this is an interoir shot. once again its a little dirty. I got a little gravel on the seat. I cleaned it off but it was my last shot. The seats were originaly blue but we vynal dyed them black.
here's the car right after it got painted. We didn't think to take pics of it as we were restored it. Stupid i know but what can a guy do about it now. I also have a pic of the car when I first got it and will get the pic up for you as soon as i get a scanner. I will try to put of shots of our 75 duster as we restore that.
here is a shot of my car when we first got it. Sorry i can't get it any bigger this this. I scaned it and i can't seem to figure out the scanner.
Thanks for checking out my page and I hope to have more shots up as continue to bring my car to perfection
