I bought this car late July 2001 from my father's friend in Los Ba?os, Laguna. The price of the car was way more than I can afford so I tricked my father into sharing the cost with me so that I can buy it. Eventually, he gave in and we splitted the cost 20%:80%. You guessed it right... 20% from me and the balance was from him. I promised to pay him back his 80% cost-share but he seemed to forget about it. So... i never reminded him.
When we got the car, it had only 70T km mileage on its odemeter. It was stock to the bone, save for the leather seat cover with Toyota emblem embossed on it, which I am still using now. This is more or less how the car looks then, except for the GLi garnish, height (due to the lowering springs), and the mags.
