i am the proud owner of a green '93 atx ford taurus sho, as of 8/19/04! it was purchased as a project car, though it is a pretty nice car already.
transmission was professionally rebuild by a specialist less than 200 miles ago, and it is a high performance racing tranny (it will break tires loose on the 1-2 shift and chirp them on the 2-3 if the throttle is wide open). it is a sweet tranny (thanks again to mike yeager). it has re-enforced motor mounts to help offset the hard shifting.
suspension work has begun as it has aluminum subframe bushings installed, and more is on the way. after finishing suspension overhaul: struts (sensatrac or kyb possibly tokico, but $$$ issues), springs (intrax or eibach), mounts, sway bar, etc. i will begin work on the body (custom paint job). exhaust will be done as well (catless y-pipe, borla or dynomax catback).
