This is the axle after it was reinstalled above the leafsprings.

This is when the rear was completely done.

Took the bed off and washed it all so i could paint the frame with flat black undercoat.

Wally91Chevrolet's 1991 Chevrolet C/K Pick-Up

Painted the inner wheel well with undercoat. Front suspension was completely taken off. Took the lower control arms off to replace the ball joints because the rubber boot had busted and they wouldn't hold grease.

C-notch installed. Just bolted on for now. Plan to have it welded in later.

My front toxic drop shocks.

Wally91Chevrolet's 1991 Chevrolet C/K Pick-Up

Installing this drop wasn't too hard. Most of the work was done by myself but i did have a buddy of mine help me somewhat along the way. It took me about a week to do mostly because i was waiting on the parts to get to my house. We tore the whole suspension out in one day and had it ready for the new stuff. I installed the flip kit and the c-notch in 2 nights after i got off work. I cut the frame with a sawsall and also had to modify my rear hanger bracket for 1 inch drop because it was made for a 2 inch drop. Replaced the lower ball joints on the front. Installed the front springs and spindles, as well as putting new brake pads and everything else back together in a little under 4 hours. Over all i am very satsified with this product and would highly recomend it to anyone who is looking to slam there truck. I didn't go with the 4/6 kit because i actually wanted mine lower. I did a 5" drop in the front and 7" in the rear. Truck rides smoother now than it did stock. Although, i do need to stiffen up the rear a little because my axle does bottom out on the bump stops of the c-notch when i hit a bump just right. If you plan to do this type of job, unless you've had any experience doing suspension work or metal work, i wouldnt attempt it. But yall tell me what you think and if youlike it, and if you need any help or information just leave me a comment and ill write back.
