I have done a lot of work on this truck since i last updated this page. I painted the truck black and slammed it. I have DJM suspension parts and Toxic Drop Shocks. I did a 5" drop on the front with 3" drop springs and 2" drop spindles. Also did a 7" drop in the rear with a rear 6" flip kit and c-notch and a 1" drop hanger bracket on the rear leaf springs. The truck rides REAL smooth and handles so much better than stock. Paint work was done by one of my buddy's and still needs cut and buffed but has jet black base coat and 6 coats of clear. Suspension work was all done by me in my garage here at the house.
Some mods I want to add to the truck include front and rear sway bars, 20 or 22 inch rims and tires. My roll pan i had was warped so we didn't put it back on because it kept cracking when we molded it in so i want to add another roll pan later. If anyone knows where i can get one for this truck and what material is the best please let me know. I'm thinking about either metal or fiberglass cause i had an ABS plastic one and it was warped. Also, i have some black vinyl and red suede that i'm going to redo my door panels with. I'm gonna put some black carpet in. Also get some seats out of a newer chevrolet (03-07) with the center console and going to get them covered in some red and black material.
Almost everything i've bought for this truck has been purchased from stylintrucks.com or lmctruck.com and i have installed everything myself. As you can see this truck has come a long way since i got it 6 years ago. I still have big plans for this truck, i want to eventually bag it and put an LS1 with a 6 speed trans in it. Just got some new Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's P275/60R15 and they are the best set of tires I have ever had on this truck. Handles great and rides real smooth.
I also just added some yellow (3000K) true HID fog lights and added some iceburg blue (8000K) HID driving lights that are like the ones on my Impala.
