Da Red Dog has moved on to another owner after a minor crash that did in its grille and radiator. As a tribute to a car I liked so much, though, this is the original first page about the car for which I originally joined CarDomain:
I bought Da Red Dog from an old friend around Easter of 2004. Stock all the way down to the Michelins on those godawful TRX wheels. Whatta guy!
But that was then ...

This is now (Bob might not even recognize it!):

The 'four-corners' suspension swap went pretty well (except for the clown on ebay who took two months and a call to his friendly local sheriff to get the rear Bilsteins to me) and Da Dog feels great. Looks a little better, too. Eibach says 3/4" in front and 1/2" in back. It looks like more. The second set of good-lookin' wheels (period 16" TSW Hockenheims) are on and the BFG tires are showing their age. This is a pre-mounting photo, and a stock photo of the 15" E-36 'clone' wheels I took off:

The clutch and attendant bits were changed, a new radiator was put in and lots'a stuff that didn't work now works (Well, not the sunroof, but it has a crank, so it's open.). It gets raves everywhere it goes, like Road America:

Sometimes, for those long trips on buggy (No; insects, not Amish!) roads, it even gets dressed up in the bra:

Jeez, almost forgot to offer my favorite photo of Da Dog -especially since that Big Damn (TM) hunka' machinery got hauled off ...

The Euro M5 grilles and lights are in:
And finally, one of the great guys over at www.mye28.com 'Cars'-ized it!
