Here are a few other 'non-Red Dog' cars near and dear to my heart.
You can't forget where you've been. When we got married, we already jointly owned a car. A 1961 DeSoto 2-door hardtop. One of 911 2-doors (2023 4-doors) built for the last model year of DeSoto production. This is the best photo I have of it.
In the brochure photo here, you can see a 'Hi-Way Hi-Fi' 45 rpm record player mounted under the dash.
Although I never got it mounted in our car, I still have this unit. I bought it from a fellow who claimed he was the photographer for the brochure and that the Hi-Way Hi-Fi was simply hung there for pictures. Afterward, no one at Chrysler Corp. seemed to want it, so he kept it for 20 years before selling it to me. If you have the right 'home' for it (It only connected to '60-'63 Dodge & DeSoto radios; not Chryslers') , I would consider selling - for the right price.
This is the '86 4000CS Quattro I drove to 232,000+ miles, including plenty of 4000-rpm autocross launches, BMW CCA Oktoberfests, winter rallies, and, as you can see here (Turn 3 at Grattan),
lotsa' laps. The first car to carry Wisconsin's (my!) WARP ONE plates.
Next is a car I've had even longer, but driven much less, 'The Barbarian'.
A '74 BMW with a cracked block that I hope to convert into a club racer one day.
Living on a 'gentleman's farm' in rural Wisconsin necessitates some big, nasty 4WD vehicles. The biggest and nastiest is this '79 Ford F350 with 4.10 Dana 60 axles and a 400 mod V8. It gets about 8 mpg and it doesn't give a flying damn whether it's pulling a 10,000 lb haywagon or is completely empty. 8 is what you get from Da Big Ugly Truck.
The other beast is Da Jeep; a 2001 Grand Cherokee I drive in the winter or in really crappy weather or pulling said haywagon when Da Big Ugly Truck isn't in a mood to run.
Finally, there's this stunning 1959 BMW 507
that I was fortunate enough to get to drive for several laps at Road America in 2002 (pictured with the equally stunning Clair Sleger, Badger Bimmers' autocross vixen). The full story can be found in the archived IMMER August 2002 at Badger Bimmers website.
WHOOPS! Almost forgot Da Red Kitty! The wife's '02 Jaguar X-Type we bought on ebay.

5-speed, AWD, nav system, CD changer, everything but the heated seats. Gotta love it, even if it is English and I never get to drive it.
Hey, how about Da Shadow? Pretty much stock except for the windshield, bags (not shown), rear backrest (added later), and a coupla' stickers. A '95 VT600CD ('VLX')
