I purchased a Red Porsche 914/6 two years ago. It is running the original factory 2.0L engine, I recently equipped it with front and rear sway bars, and also, I recently replaced the transmission with and exact duplicate from the factory because it was getting old.

Above, is a photo from a week after purchasing the car. I bought new rims for it, but they are not the originals, they are remakes.

I purchased new rims about one month later, these are originals from the factory, they cost almost $500 a piece...

Heres a photo of the 2.0L machine, this thing can pull off at least 100mph....

Heres a photo of the interior....almost mint condition. I had all the vinyl upholstered to leather. Very comfortable. Well, I hope you enjoyed looking at my Porsche 914/6...It is a beauty to look at, and to drive...

Hey ddijohn, Whoever posted this 914 is bogus as several of the 914 owners have pointed out but I can answer your questions regarding sway bars. If you have a 914-4 I (and many other 914 owners)would recommend a front sway bar only. You do not need a rear sway bar. I added the weltmeister 19mm sway bar with 140lb springs and sport shocks. I did not go with the 22mm and the 160lb springs because this is a daily driver. I run mostly DE events but I have done an AX and the car is very balanced and handles great. You will notice the difference. Try to do an AX/DE before you make the changes. good luck........darryl

Hey, I own a 914 and I was wondering whether you could tell me if the sway bars actually make a difference and whether or not they were worth putting in?
