The Beginning

Hello my name is Jeff and my goal is not the easiest but most rewarding:
Take a "stock" DeLorean and with a bit of color and chrome make her one of the most recognizable DeLoreans in the US.
Above is a photo of my DeLoreans engine when I took possession of her in the summer of 2002. Most DeLorean engines look like this. Good looking motor but it could be SO MUCH MORE.

The above photo is my engine in the summer of 2003. I had put alot of work into her however, being that this is my first DeLorean, I made a few mistakes and she had to be taken down a bit and redone. I'll show some of that in coming pages.

Here is the finished cover for my engine. All the colored items on the car are "powdercoated" rather than painted. I chose this process because it is a much tougher finish and is "baked on" at over 400 degrees.

Here is a shot of the trim around my windshield. Unfortunately, it is not the cars original. The original windshield was replaced sometime in the cars past. I do not have a receipt for this but whoever did it did a nice job. I decided to polish the trim on the car because they were nice pieces of aluminum or SS (I was unable to determine which metal because of the polishing prior to their original painting) and they do not rust. I think it's a nice detail.
Since this is my first time posting about my car here, I'm gonna leave this page for now and return soon with some more photos of the repairs/updates leading up until now.
Thanks for looking :)
