Screw this site, people on here piss me off, so no more updates. This is the biggest flame war site I have ever been to. No one has any respect and most people on here are illiterate. Not a whole lot has gone on with my monte since last year because its winter, and winter sucks. I did get my magnaflow mufflers, high-flow cat, and cherry bomb glasspack on though, and boy is it badass. It has the greatest rumble ive ever heard. I am in the process of tinting my windows. I may put a hold on it until springtime when i can clean her up. I will post pictures when its nicer out so i can take some.

Got my mufflers today thanks to regalblue on mymonte.com, it kinda sucks that UPS is really slow at delivering because I didnt get them until about 6pm and meineke closes at 6. So tomorrow I have a very busy day and alot of money to spend. Gotta wake up early and go to the bank, take out alot of money, head to meineke, wait an hour or two for installation, then run over to pinebelt chevrolet to get my timing belt changed before it snaps. THEN hopefully itll be done before I go to work at 5. crazy crazy day 2morrow.

I will post sound clips of the exhaust and some new updated pictures probably sunday if I get a chance.

My birthday is coming up soon and I will be getting my liscence in about 23 days. I can't wait! I am looking to order two Magnaflow Universal Mufflers and a high-flow cat. its gonna sound mean. Its only going to cost me about $194.98 for all of that. Check out www.performancecenter.com they got lots of stuff for pretty cheap.

-Going to get my timing belt changed. These things are notorious for snapping at bad times. On these dual cams if the timing belt snaps the engine is pretty much screwed.

-I am also about to make alot of changes with my car. I noticed that I have too many stickers. I am taking off most of them. I will leave on only a select few. I dont want my car to llok ricey. I am also going to be finally removing that gay faded pinstripe on the side.

-I have been thinking and writing down ideas about what i want to turn my monte into. I have mostly decided to start it out as a show car. after the car becomes fully mine and i get my full lisence (however you spell it) i will start purchasing performance mods. because right now i am still young and have my permit, my insurance is still high, if they find out that I am getting better and faster mods then my insurance will go up even higher.

So as of right now I am only getting modifications that make it look better. And magnaflow mufflers to sound better. The halloween parade is coming up and I need her to be a little better looking so people will recognize her.

-Things I have come up with:
*Neons attract girls.
*Good sounding music attracts girls/is nice to listen too.
*Vynil graphics are cool in small doses.
*A nice pair of mufflers and chromse tips look as good as they sound.

Update:
-Well after a day of painstaking wiring with my dad....just kidding, my dad is really good at wiring (he wires boats and stuff with lights) we got my headlight strobes and neons in place. i still have more i am going to add, like under chassis neons. I also have plans for a box i am going to build for in my trunk. top secret plans so if i told you id have to kill you! I also plan for rear strobes soon and one more set of interior neons.

Update:

-My dad took the car up to a guy he knows to have the alternator replaced, since it is in a pain in the ass location to change. He then took it to have the door hinge welded and the door re-aligned. Now she runs good and the door isn't going to fall off.

-I wired my new CB radio in now I just have to find extra wire to run it into the engine compartment to give it power.

Well unfortunately my alternator died. Now I have to go somewhere to get it replaced so the car can run. Right now the thing is running on pure battery. The good news is I got pictures of my new visor complements of Seaside Graphix and I painted my calipers...don't ask why, I was just bored.

-Yesterday was the 60th anniversary of D-Day.

-I am looking at buying a set of Eibach Lowering Springs. They are about 300 bucks but I might be able to find cheaper.

Update:

-I tore out the bottom of my airbox so my intake and filter sits lower in the engine bay. I took out the matrix filter and put in a nice, big, juicy K&N filter. I still have to buy a new intake because my current one moves around too much. I will post a picture when I get a chance.

-I finally convinced my dad to help me put on my "Monte Carlo" visor vinyl. It looks really good on there, now I just gotta take some more pics.

-My grandfather gave me a CB radio for my car, I just got to wait until my dad takes the stupid car up to the welding guy to fix the door permanently so I can open the door without it falling off. Then I can run wires under the floorboard and into the engine bay to hook up to the battery.

-I went to Seaside Graphix and had Greg make me up a windsheild visor with "Monte (bowtie) Carlo" on it...I just have to get around to putting it on.

-I bought a matrix filter in place of the stock air box as a temporary solution until I get a good intake. Either a fenderwell or a drop down.

Update:

-I haven't updated in a while so here is my small list of things I've done:

1) Got new hinges for the door, but the frame of the top hinge has to be welded better.

2) Got some heat resistant wire covers since my engine heats up so freakin much.

3) Got a cone filter from my friend but it didnt fit right so I have to go buy another one.

- I also did a few little odds and ends like some new neons and crap..but nothing spectacular.

- Tomorrow my dad is taking the car up to work so he can have the driver side door taken off and re-welded. The door welds were weak, and the door is slightly off.

-Here is a rundown list of investments I have planned for my Monte:

1. New headunit or get old one fixed (currently skips everytime you touch it....very sensitive)

2. Windshield visor "Chevy Racing"

3. Resonator exhaust tips.

4. StreetGlow neons for under the dash, undercar,rear deck etc.

5. Stock spoiler

And some other odds and ends.
