TxSVORay's 1985 Ford Mustang

Well I sold both my stangs. So don't be surprized when you see a cute chick pull up next to you in a SVO ;) I had trouble telling her no...although I did try and talk her parents out of it. Anyways, I'll try and keep this site going to help SVO owners out.

I had some technical issues but everything should be up and running...except page 3, can't even open it to edited it. I'll keep trying and if not, I'll email Cardomain. Anyhow, check out my other car comming soon ...

These are pics of my old toys. The left is a 93' 2.3L LX and on the right 85' SVO 2.3T turbo charged four banger. The SVO's are getting pretty rare to find running around not that they weren't somewhat rare to begin with. There was about 1500 85' SVOs ever made and a grand total of around 6500-10000 ever built from 84-86'. The production numbers are really a debate but so fair I don't think there was more than that made. Right now the SVO is stock running around 15psi of boost making it around 175hp. I'm in the process of installing a new exhaust mainifold since my stock one cracked on me. I decided to use a E6 that has been ported out to allow better air flow. Someone dyno this and is suppose to add 11hp. Now while I was pulling the old exhaust mainifold off I started getting new ideas on mods to do to the car. Since these cars have long been out of production and in limited numbers there is not a lot of aftermarket parts for them. This means atleast half the mods that I'm doing to my car now to increase its out put power is done with Junk Yard parts. This is partly because of groups like TurboFord.org and SVOCA that has done lots of experimenting with J/Y parts to figure out what works. I will try to post whats being done and how it may help out put power.

Here is a pic of my new 03' Harley Davison edition F150!! I'll try and start another account for it later on.

Thanks for all teh comments on my SVO and LX. These cars will always be in my thoughts. I'm pretty much a car slut much like Jay Lano but without the huge bank account. Thus why I sold the stangs, I reallized I couldn't keep them and move on to some other really cool cars/trucks. As for the pcitures on my site, Cardomain rebooted or something crazy a year or so ago and delted my pictures. I still have these pictures and will start trying to slowing reinstall them for future SVO owners.

Sorry about the inconvience.
Ray

A little of a year later things has changed. I've bought a new home and got a few different thing to ride around in.

My garage now includes a 2003 F150 Ford Harley edition 4dr truck. I got this to make my life easier to haul my son around in. It was a PITA lugging him around in teh back seat of a stang. I said to my self, if I had to get rid of my stangs, I was going to get something fun to drive. This truck isn't the fastest truck around but a bone stock 05-07 GT better watch out. This truck has run 14.84's in the qauter...stock!

As time went on, I was able to save up enough money and finnaly ick me up a new toy. Staying true to my love for fast cars with small motors I got the Ultimate in American Rice... 1987 T-type Regal! If you're not sure what this car is, just simply thik Buick Grand National without the flash. This is what I call the missing link between good old fashion American muscle cars and todays imports. Youngters now days think that the concept of fast small motorsa is new but it's actually very old. The big three did this long before most imports even had a dealership in the US. The problem was it wasn't excepted by the V8 guys and was also costly compared to most V8's. Anyways, look for me to post up a new Cardomain if they let me on this car and my Harley.

Thanks again
Ray

Hey, I haven't stopped by in a while and thought I would check out the progress only to see that you sold not only your LX, but your SVO too? I hate to hear that.

Hey man, Checked it out linked from stangnet. It's going to look nice when you get done, with all that polishing you've done. Looks like you've put in alot of time into just the polishing. Looks sweet.
