Haven't updated in a while, very busy with the car and at work. Throw in a vacation at the beach too. But I've made a lot of progress, all things considered.
The AOD trans locked up and had to be rebuilt. I had them go ahead and beef it up a little, including a B&M shift kit.
Here are some pics of the body seams being worked out. I ground out the seams, filled them with West Systems epoxy, then worked them out with Rage Gold filler.
Then the body was sprayed with Evercoat Featherfill and block sanded. The car was block sanded and primed repeatedly with finer grits of sandpaper. I blocked it out about 11 or 12 times, the las 2 with a guide coat. Then for the paint. I used all DuPont Chromalusion products, basecoat clearcoat. The color is Ford royal blue pearl with perfomance white stripes.
