Myself on the skeet range.

This 2000 Tahoe Z71 took the place of my Land Rover Range Rover memberpage.cardomain.com/landroverox, in 2001 when it burnt to the ground. Unlike the Rover, I have made a number of improvments the the Tahoe. The top pics were taken on a hunting trip about 2 months ago. I plan on posting some other exterior pics soon, just haven't gotten around to it yet.
The Main Modifications I have made to the exterior are wind deflectors on the hood and all windows (these things really work well when they stay attached), KC Slim Lights on the front grill guard, true dual exhaust with two flowmaster 50 series mufflers and two catalytic converters, then a K&N air intake system, and BF Goodrich All Terains 285/75 r17's.
These are some pics of the system I've installed so far. The only thing I cared about in building this system was clairity, I've had no problems with distortion at all, and when I want people can still hear me coming a mile away.
I began by installing an Alpine CDA-9815 head unit, this head unit will play both regular and mp3 cd's, I've also set it up with XM and I've really been happy with XM since they switched over to commercial free programming. I then purchased a Valentine One Radar detector, these things really work well. Then to keep my self from running off the road I installed a complete hands-free kit for my Motorola V60 color (you can see the speaker for it in the bottom of the pic), this kit is great because it mutes the stereo when people call or when I place a call.

Next I installed Diamond Audio M6 component speakers in the front doors. These speakers SCREAM.
I didn't want to drill wholes for the tweeters so I installed Diamond M3's in the back seat. I had to have custom covers made because the built in tweeters stuck out to far for the factory grill.
Last in terms of spreakers came the Alpine 12" Type R subs, which i had put in a custom enclosure in the back of the Tahoe.

To supply power to all of these I put in two awesome amps. The Alpine MRP-F200 for the mids and hi's and the Alpine MRV-1507 for the subs, this sub amp is HUGE and it puts out 1500 watts of pure power. Neatly mounted in between is the Alpine XM tuner, these things are hard to get I waited 2 months for this one.

All in all the system is awesome and there isn't anything I would change, I've also kept all of the factory equipment so that when i decide to sell it I can keep the system.
These are some pics of what my friends did to my car while i was in class one day last year, I'm holding the balloon.
