The interior ...

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is how the cab looks like in the inside. You can see the MOMO pedals, MOMO shift knob, the CD head unit, MOMO hand brake, etc. All the illumination is color matched.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta As it is now with the VDO boost gauge and other add ons...

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta Here is a pic of the passenger view of the cockpit.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta Here is the driver's view of the cockpit.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta Here you can see a closeup of the MOMO door protectors, they are chrome with carbon fiber inserts and a yellow logo, they look cool.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta I had the stock instrument cluster front replaced by one of the new Jetta, the chrome bezels look really nice, I have the numerals too but I would have to recalibrate the gauges, so I didn't take them off.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is the matching boost gauge from VDO. I got a blue led too to match the stock illumination at night.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is how it looks at night.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is the euroswitch I added ton control de front and rear fog lights.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is a close up from the Zender concept pedals. They are aluminum made and fit perfectly (I recently changed those by the TurboS ones from VW, I'll post pics later).

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is the carbon fiber MOMO shift knob, I had to saw the shift lever for the leather boot to fit, and at the same time I got shorter shifts!.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta A closer look of how it looks now with the TT shifter base.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta Recently the stock plastic boot started to peel, so I got a MOMO one, it was a little bit shorter than the stock one so I had to take out about an extra inch from the shifter rod, this is the result (nice!).

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is the carbon fiber MOMO hand brake, I had to add also the leather boot.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is the CD headunit, it's a Sony.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is one of the JBL GTO speakers mounted on the front doors.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is the amplified Bazooka on the trunk.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta I got the steering wheel custom leather covered, got the R32 plate and added it. The steering wheel shape is the same except for a couple of bumps for better grip in the R32 steering wheel.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is how it looks with the TT shifter base (mhw). Cool huh?.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta A closer look...

The sound system consists of an Sony CD headunit, 2 JBL GTO coaxial speakers in the front doors, 2 Pioneer coaxial speakers on the rear doors, it has a great fidelity and sounds quite okay for not having an amp, the bass is deliverd by a 8" amplified bazooka on the trunk.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta The stock plastic lock pins made a rattling noise with vibration, that was annoying so I changed them for some aluminum ones (INXX) that have three rubberbands that keep them from making noise. Besides they look really nice.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This was the stock dome light.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta I replaced it with this one that has illuminated controls and permanent LED illumination of the cockpit.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta The car did not have a door light from stock, just a reflector.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta I got the light for the door from a guy in the RVAG forum.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is how it looks installed, the wiring was not there but I could figure it out from the stock harness. Looks really nice.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta the car didn't have the small cargo net on the right side of the trunk, I got it from the dealer and installed it. You can see also the net I got for the large objects. I don't like stuff making noise in the trunk!.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta I added this screen on the back because the sunlight hist the rear passengers in the neck and it's kind of anoying. You can put it on and off as required. costed me only like 35 bucks.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is how it looks when it's retracted.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta I added the rear headrests

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta I recently changed the whole set of seats for OEM leather Recaros, they are so nice and comfortable, much more sportier. The car smells like new again!. These seats are really rare, they came out in a special V6 Jetta edition. They have lumbrar support, heating and airbags. They have side supports and that keeps you bolted to the seat even on hard turns, they are also really comfortable. They look much nicer live than in the picture. The Recaro logo is not sewed but has a small plate with chrome letters on it, looks awesome.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is how the rear looks. The picture is not good but just to give you an idea. These seats feature silver pin labels for the child seat mounting hooks, three headrests and come in 40/60 configuration, unlike the stock ones that were just a single bench. Also the middle passenger has a 3 points seatbelt while the stock one had only 2 points for this place. I had to buy a climbing hook to fix it to the stock hook that goes mounted under the seat.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta The small plate with the logo looks really nice.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta I got a 5th Recaro seat for my son, so he starts getting used to racing, hahaha. A perfect match for my seats.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta It looks really sporty and has nice safety features besides looking cool.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta I got an arm rest for my car. It was used but I had the leather replaced, not it looks like new.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is how it looks installed, nice!. I had to add some pads to keep it from rattling but now it's okay.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta I installed the power source in the trunk the luxury models have. The harness was there already, so just bought the socket for like 10 bucks. All I had to add was the light so it's illuminated at night.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta I decided to have a better sound system. So I got a few stuff: soundstream 250 RMS 4 channel Amp, coustic 75 RMS 2 channel amp (formerly on my truck), a RF 10" subwoofer, an all the necessary wiring and accesories.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta I sold the bazooka, with the nitrous tank it took much space from the trunk. There was a corner that was not used, seemed good enough to fit the 10" sub. The enclosure was fiberglass made.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta Meanwhile I mounted both amps on the trunk, in a way they wouldn't take much space and could not been easily seen, to avoid thieves.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is the outcome, got some matching carpet so it looks stock.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is the sub I have mounted now, still RF but now a P2 version.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta As you can see there is plenty of room and more bass on the car now. The nitrous bottle is missing because I took it off for the audio installation but is currently there now.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta Since I don't smoke i changed the lighter for a touareg lamp, has been really helpful a couple of times.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is the stock rear view mirror, it sucked because the car is low and all the headlights from the cars behind bothered me.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta I replaced it for an auto dimming mirror. I had to change the windshield, it had a small crack anyway, so I changed both at the same time.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is the front view, I don't know why VW didn't use a red or blue bulb instead of the ulgly green one. it has red illumination on the bottom side, looks pretty cool.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta They broke into my car, they stole the radio, a laptop and my briefcase (the last two were in the trunk). I had to replace the headunit.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is the new headunit, has a slot for SD cards and has tons of cool functions, I really like it.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is how it looks installed, you can perfectly match the screen color to the car's interior. has also an auto dimming feature.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta I replaced the subwoofer amp for this RF Punch, in fact it's the amp for the sub I have. includes a kind of epicenter control for extra deep bass.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is how it looks mounted in the trunk (the one on the left). its much bigger than the coustic I had!.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta I got a db Link 1.5 Farads capacitor to keep the amps feed at all times. Its housing is chrome and will look nice and will fit perfectly in the truck, I already found a place for it. When I install it I'll post some pics.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta This is the place I found for this baby. Looks pretty cool and the sound system works great.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta Got the GLI door handle sets, they look sweet.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta this is how the front door looks now. They make a nice contrast with the black interior.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta I added a pivot racing shift light, amazing device!, thin and so easy to connect!.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta A close up of how I mounted it over the boost gauge.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta Overall view of the dash and steering wheel, looks nice doesn't it?, the finish matches with the interior details and the controller module was placed under the stering column, on the space that the steering column lever has, very stealth and handy.

I got this interior light kit from a wrecked GLI, includes the visor and rear seat lights, as welll as the full harness. The problem is that it goes all the way down the A-pillar, and I feel lazy to tear it all apart (belive it or not, hahaha), one of these days I will install it.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta

It seemed to me that something was missing on my boost meter: the illuminated needle, so I got an AWE boost meter. it also has the OEM color, it looks awesome, check it out, really OEM.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta

The only thing missing is the silver ring, I got one from new south performance but it does not fit, I'm in the process of making a custom one.

A subtle mod was to chenge the color of the logo on the MOMO door protectorswhat do you think?, they match the interior much better now.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta

I installed a silver bezel on the boost gauge, it looks cool:

I finally got my .:R line steering wheel:

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta

We had to make a few slight mods to fit it properly, and also I had to purchase the airbag, since the one I had mounts itself differently.

I got this OEM cell phone holder base, what do you think?, it seems to me a little bit bulky on my car's interior. I think I'll sell it.

My sub's coil burned again... I replaced the sub now by a Focal one, this is s really fine brand, I hop it lasts longer thatn the RF sub. The cone is made of a material that looks like carbon fiber.

Here it is already installed:

The roof liner started to hang down. I think this is because I cleaned it a couple of times a few years ago with carpet foam cleaner. Instead of having it repaired I got a new one from the dealeship. It came out in the new jetta material, altrough the same color. It looks very nice and seems easier to clean, will never do the foam thisng again!.

Ivan_Baez's 2003 Volkswagen Jetta

I added the reading lights to the back seats. I hated to be in the dark when I left something in the rear of the car. I had the complete harness and lamps since about a year ago just stored in my garage. It was time to put them on. I did not installe the ones that go behind the sun shades becaise apparently you need ones with an integrated switch, still I never look at myself while driving like girls do, hahaha.

Nice car, I have a 2.0 as well, I wanted to get it to about 200 hp but I don't think I have the money. How much did you pay for your final turbo?
