Here is the Mach 1 and Charger in the driveway. Both just washed and looking pretty good.

The history on the car.
Well, I don't know much about the history of the car. When I purchased the car, the only thing I found that added any history was a small plaque attached to the dash. It said 1983 Car Craft Magazine Street Machine Nationals Participant. I emaild Car Craft about the event, but they never responded. (Hey Car Craft, I have a subscription!)
My car was originally a 4 speed. Converted to an automatic, and then back to a 4 speed. The engine blew on it at one point so it has a non-numbers matching drivetrain. I didn't care when I got the car, it was an original V code 6 pack car with a 6 pack setup. The setup could be original for the car, more research will be needed though.

Options
Since my fender tag is missing, and my build sheet is only half there, I've had to try and piece together the options the car came with. Here are the specs I know of so far.
Super Trac Pack-4.10 gears are nice!
Lite Group-The build sheet states it has the map light, trunk light, etc
4 Speed tranny-Not original now, out of a roadrunner.

6-pack-Its not a numbers matching block, or an HP block. If I were going for a more original car, then I'd look for a 1970 HP block.

Triple Green-Its a green vinyl top, mettalic green exterior, and a green interior!

I started to gut the car and prepare it for media blasting, and then rust repair. It needs a new trunk and floor pans. Luckily the rest of the car is solid. Rear quarters will have to be looked at closer to reveal any poor repairs.
