My 1989 Chevrolet Camaro RS

camar04life's 1989 Chevrolet CamaroAs it stands now my camaro is still in the mild restoration stages. I bought it for $2200 and got an exceptional deal. When I first picked it up it didnt even start! But with some time effort, timing changes, new fuel pump and a tune-up its running just like it should. So far, I have only had to do minor engine modifications, well more like repairs, lol.

Recently I purchases some new monroe front struts my ride will be MUCH much smoother. The ride in that car was as bad a WW1 Willis Jeep.

camar04life's 1989 Chevrolet Camaro Now my future ambitions are to make my L03 engine a 325 hp sleeper. Starting from the top I plan to bolt ona Holley 650 CFM TBI unit, slip on some L31 vortec heads along witha ported GM intake manifold. After that Ill toss in a lunati stroker kit witha roller cam and lifter package along with new rocker arms.Strangely enough an IROC Camaro with a 250hp engine, a 700R4 automatic trannie and a 3.23 rear end a 14.3 second 1/4 mile import-killer exists...

camar04life's 1989 Chevrolet Camaro With the engine done I'll put in a high stall torque-converter to handle the horse power and torque gains. Soon after, a real Rear end differential will be needed, because the stock diff on my RS is a 2.73:1....sad just plain sad. I think a moser IROC rear end with 3.23 will do for now:)

As far as apperence, I want an Iroc hood with the blisters, the Z-28 grill with fog lights and the High-Rise z-28 spoiler, does any1 know where I can get these cheap?!

camar04life's 1989 Chevrolet Camaro Overall, this thing is not only a blast to drive, its a real sickass car to even be seen in, especialy with the T-Tops off. So for all of you who drive slow 'mommy-cars' like I once did, dig up about $3000 and buy your self a solid camaro. Trust me its worth it.

If you have any input what so ever throw it at me, just sign my guest book and drop me a line or two.I also have AIM so if ur down for chattin about the number 1 american sports car hit me up at my screen name: BlkTempist

thanks 4 stopin by ,check back in for completed modifications.
