Hey all, this is my ride, a 2004 Nissan Altima. I've shaved all the emblems, got the windows tinted, made new grills, blacked out/cleared the headlights, dropped on Eibach sportlines and got it sitting on 18" gunmetal Motegi MR7s.

From stock to not.

Latest shots. Now on the wishlist is SE-R taillights, sidesills, and a Stillen lip.

Working on putting my system in it. System should include:

Head Unit: Sony ES C90
Equalizer: 2 Audiocontrol EQTs
Components: JL Audio XR4s, XR tweeets
Component amp: JL Audio 300/4
Midbass: JL Audio XR6.5s
Midbass amp: JL Audio 300/2
Subwoofer: JL Audio 13W7
Sub amps: 2 JL Audio 500/1s

All system construction will be done by me with a little help from friends. I'm going to show as much as possible, to show people that they don't need to spend a ton in a shop for a install.

The plan is: Got the mounting kit for the deck, gonna do a little work on the mounting kit to make it look tight. Gotta pretty sweet idea for my EQTs, we'll see how that turns out. Components are going in the kick panels with tweets in the A-pillars, XR6.5s in the stock door locale, then the big boy in the trunk along with the amp rack. Toss in a little neon for show and get my ass in the SQ lanes.

DECK / MOUNTING KIT

The below left shot is of the factory deck and also looking at the passenger side kick panel and door. Right pic is of a stock Metra mounting kit.

Here in the below left pic shows the Metra mounting kit for the Altima after I plastic welded the crap outta it. That trim ring isn't going anywhere. Had a little brainstorm on the mounting kit, going to do my switches for my amps and fans, also my bass knob in the dash. The below right pic shows the mounting kit, my mark for cutting the storage pocket. I stole some of the pocket for donor plastic.

Below left pic shows the piece being held in place awaiting plastic weld. Below right: All plastic welding done.

Below left: A little sanding and a little dynalite filler later.
Below right shot of the mounting kit sprayed up quick to get an idea of how its gonna look. Its not done quite yet, need to get the switches in and spray texture it.

Shot of test fitting the deck. Changed the lights to amber on the C90 to match the alti dashlights.

TWEETER POD / A PILLAR

Customizin the A pillars for the tweets. Hole sawed out a spot in the factory pillars where I want the tweets. Moves the tweeter away and up a little from the factory spots. Both tweet cups ghetto black taped into place for first bit of plastic weld to hold em.

Tweet pods in place after all plastic weld done. Slapped a coat of bondoglass onto the pillars to start shaping.

Next couple shots: A pillar after basic sanding. Recovering the A pillar in cloth. Pics a bit fuzzy, did this work while drinking a few beers. Be careful, I blasted my thumb with the hot glue gun. It was time to quit then, lol.
