Im in the process of restoring the engine bay of my 1968 mustang coupe. after the engine bay i will move on to the interrior as the body is fine for my needs. i will eventually replace the few fugged up pannels( rear and front valence bumpers and other small stuff) but thats that. im still workin so bear with me guys
this is what she looked like after i pulled the motor out.

here is the engine bay as of 2 weeks ago on march 24th i had a good amount of time int here witha wire wheel on a power drill and circualr sander for the larger areas

here are soem pics from last weekend. i got the fenders off and grill out and proceded with the wire wheel. i will have some more pics up next weekend when i replace my right front fender apron as the battery ate through it.

i put approximately id gess like 80 hours or so jsut gettiing everything sanded and painted and pannel replacement

ill be puting in a stock rebuild 351 then gonna build that over time.

What a great project car, great job so far. It will be sharp when finished. Keep posting pictures so we can see how things are coming along.

Welcome to the Domain. Sweet project car. It will be badass when you finish it. What size engine are you putting in it? I wouldn't mind having an old Mustang to tinker around with. Check out my '91 Accord sometime. Good luck with your project and keep up the good work.
