I have made many changes, including replacing the huge bold grille with a sporty mesh version from a much rare Tickford version of the Fairlane (known as the TL50), 19" 5-spoke alloys, 2.5" high-flow exhaust system with race series extractors, a shift-kitted auto trans with 3100 rpm high-stall torque converter, a Unichip performance computer chip and air intake modifications. I have also added chrome wing mirror covers from the Fairlane that came after mine.It goes pretty well but I wish it was quicker. Hope to have it supercharged one day!At the time of manufacture, the 2000 Ford Fairlane was one of only a few very large rear-wheel-drive (RWD) sedans still being sold new on the world's stage. The market has turned towards RWD again and I look forward in hope to see what Ford (Australia) may bring back for us lovers of full-size sedans with big shiny asses. This is how it came from the factory (plus being lowered):
Thanks for taking a look!
