Custom Stuff, new parts & car apart!

These are my custom one off Hood Hinges. These started out as Brand New Reproduction Hinges, I cut all of the metal off that was not needed. Smoothed everything, boxed in the Hood Mount to fit tight to my Harwood Fiberglass Hood. I used small Motor Home Gas Struts(lots of trial and error) and they are just strong enough to keep the Hood open and light enough to alow the Hood to close. It was alot of and they usually go unoticed.

Here are my Kick Panels, they started out as Q-Form universals. I laid Fiberglass to the contour of the floor of the car, then made mounts to attach them to the Kick panels. I chose not to mold them into the Factory panels because these panels are very difficult to install. So the Speakers are there own pod, they can be removed separately, I tried to finish them so they blend in with the Black Factory Panels. Again they usually go unoticed, by now I am used to it, alot of the detail of my Cars goes unoticed until people really start ot look. This is just the tip of the install because I had to heavily modify the Factory plastic panels too. Then there is the E-brake that is also in the way, it was cut and moved over and re-welded and boxed for strength. I did keep the Factory Air Vents functional except on the Passenger side, when it came time to install everything(A/C & Kicks) I had to narrow the vent so much that it is there but does not open. It was alot of work but they are very functional and they sound good also.

Here is the Custom Gauge cluster, I originally built this about 3 years ago. I get alot of compliments about it and I get asked where it can be purchased. Like most of my stuff it is my creation, anyone can buy a Covan Dash Insert. So this year I changed all of the Gauges over to the Ultra-lites, I have always loved the Silver Faced gauges but I have always bought them 1 or 2 at a time. So this time I started with all new, the Dash Gauges were just replaced with the same gauges. I did go with the Electronic Speedo and the Memory Recall Tach. It is in the new console where I actually made some changes, the biggest was using the NEW Full Sweep Electrics, I have never been a fan of the Electric Gauges. The new Full Sweeps look like to old Mech without the Tubes and such.

Here is the console out of the car, I had not had the Console out of the car since the Original build with the Stereo. The Reason was because of the Mech Water Temp gauge, it would have to have the capillary tube pushed through the fire-wall. That is the reason for going to the Electric gauges, now the panels inside can come apart and I only have to un-do some wiring. I also re-did alot of the switches and made a hard painted cover for the top of the entire console.

Here is the Vintage Air Gen 4 Underdash unit, this is a very nice peice. It is the best unit on the Market, it is all Electronic and there were only a couple of electrical connections. As you can see it was a real mess, I chose to keep the Factory Heater Box. The reason for this was because the Firewall is already painted, I would have had to repaint the entire firewall. So it looks stock under the hood until you notice the hoses coming out from under inner wheelwell near the battery. I will have to get a cood pic of this area finished.

These are a Canadian built screw adjuster for the Rear Coils on a GM A-body car. They give you 3" of height adjustment and you can pre-load one side for Drag Racing. They are a very cool part, check them out at www.Budzter.com.

t69chevelle's 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle These are my new adjustable upper rear control arms. They are very nice. This is my modified front bumper, custom signals, driving lights and aluminum grille. Also I am adding A set of Moser Forged C-clip axles and an aluminum Moser Girdle rearend cover. I reinforced the upper A-arms around the ball joint and added offset cross-shafts for better alignment settings. I also added an Oil Cooler and Oil Temp gauge and made new door panels. I had the trunk lock shaved and added Neon and LED lighting to the trunk.

ING 115 L>t69chevelle's 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle The engine is apart for the New heads. This is just after the new motor was initially started and set up.
t69chevelle's 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Trial fit of a 315/35/17. Would love to put this massive tire on but I will need a minimum of an 11" rim(very expensive) and the tire is alittle short. I might sell these and get a 345/35/17 which will match the fronts better.

Thanks for looking & hope you liked the car.

The sexiest '69 I've ever seen! Pro-touring is definitely the best look for a muscle car. Really love that color and no-chrome look. Those rims also compliment the car as well for that fast, yet subtle look. I love it, man. Hope you have a lot of fun with it. 5 stars and a favorite for sure!
