ENGINE: 350 0.030 4-bolt, ARP Studs, Steel Crank, Scat 4130 Full Floating Rods & Keith Black Silv-O-Lite pistons-10.5:1. It has been balanced and line honed. There is a Fluidampr and a Melling High Vol. Oil Pump. A Hamburger Road Racing oil pan w/ windage tray and External Oil Cooler finish off the bottom end. A Comp Cams Solid Roller, 248-254dur@0.050 & 576-585lift w/Crower Roller Lifters, Comp Pushrods & a Cloyes Double Roller chain. The heads are New Dart Pro 1 Platinums w/200cc Runner & 64cc fast burn chambers, these are the latest Pro 1s, 2.02-1.60 stainless valves with Comp Beehive Springs and Stainless Steel Rollers. A polished Air Gap intake w/750 DP Mighty Demon & a Tapered Wilson 1" Spacer get the fuel in. Spark is from an MSD Digital 6 plus, HVC Coil and an E-Curve Distributor w/Moroso Ultra 40 Wires and Zex Plugs. Flowtech 3/4 length 1 5/8" Ceramic Coated headers and a full aluminized 2 1/2" Custom Exhaust w/Flowmasters get the burnt gasses out amd Badlanze Wireless Electric Cut-outs add to the Fun Factor on the Street. A Permanent Magnet GM gear reduction mini starter & SFI Felxplate work very well.
TRANSMISSION: 350 turbo trans(by John Hutchison) Full Race rebuild, Full Manual/Automatic Valve Body with a Neal Chance 3000 Stall, Billet Pan, Lokar Kickdown and large Cooler w/braided lines and a 10" Electric Fan. A custom Balanced 3 1/2" Driveshaft with Safety Loop puts the power to the Rearend.

Firewall, Rad Cradle & Inners have been smoothed and painted. There are 2 Red Optima batteries mounted on either side of the rad, w/custom Billet trays. The Tops of the Batteries were painted Body Colour also. A new Custom 220Amp Alternator has been added to take care of the high current draw. A Spun Aluminum Air cleaner Lid w/4" K&N, Polished Aluminum and Stainless are everywhere. Polished Fabricated Aluminum Valve Covers have Chromed Aluminum PCV & Breathers. A new March Mid Mount A/C Bracket & Pulley setup was added for the Compressor. The Vintage Air parts are all hidden for a Custom Clean Look. PCV hose & Power Brake hoses are now polished aluminum hard lines. There are lots of Custom parts throughout.

Closer view of return style fuel line, 750 Mighty Demon carb is awesome. Lokar cables are used for the throttle & kickdown. The fuel system is comprised of a Custom Gas Tank, it has a bottom Sump and Baffling inside to keep gas slosh to a minimum. A Russell Filter goes to a Holley Black Pump(new) and to a 3/8" Steel and Braided feed line. It then feeds to the 750 Mighty Demon and returns through a Holley Regulator and a 3/8" Return line. The return system works very well and the pump stays alot cooler. I recently bought an Edelbrock 160ghp pump so it will replace the Black pump. I might go up to a 1/2" Feed line.

I also added Electric Cutouts for the Exhaust, they are stainless steel with a Wireless Remote. I can drive down the road and open and close them while driving(being very careful) and the reactions are priceless. I like to open as I am leaving the Cruise Night and them close them up at the stop light. They are alot of fun. I added a shot of my New Stainless Rollers, I replaced them and went to Comp Cams Beehive Springs. I was having trouble wiht my TRW Rollers hitting the Retainers on the old Springs, the Beehive springs have a nice small Retainer and they seam to work very well. I say that because I cannot believe that I took off large Double Springs and replaced them with a Single Beehive, they look so small but I guess that is why they are on the New Vettes.

A Custom Howe Rad w/ an Aluminum Cover between the Rad Cradle and the Header Panel . Cool Flex rad hoses work & look great. An S10 pulse wiper motor has been modified to work with the GTA column controls. Windshield washer bottle has been moved to inside the cowl and the washer squirters are in the center of the windshield. Also note the Flaming River Steering Shaft with Universals. With the New Gen IV Vintage Air I went with a March Mid Mount Serpentine Pulley System. The Compact Sanden Compressor mounts below the Alternator for a very clean look. The Steering Box is a High Effort 12:1 quick ratio box with a Custom Pump and Fluid Cooler. All of the Steering components have Roller Bearings and removable Slugs for Adjustment.

A 28" core Howe Aluminum Rad w/16"& 12" Spal electric fans w/custom aluminum shroud  that works  well. I have a Non-Adjustable Fan Thermostat that will work with the A/C and turn the fans on with and a Polished Overflow . There is a Vintage Air Condenser in front of the Rad but it is completely out of sight. You can also see the 12:1 Steering box w/ A/N Lines that run to Fluid Cooler. There is also a Polished Billet Pump Housing that runs Synthetic Fluid.  The March Mid-mount A/C is very nice because the Compressor is down and out of the way.

Two Red Top Optimas are up front with Custom Aluminum Trays. When I added the Vinatage Air I decided not to re-do the Firewall so I kept the Heater Box and all of the hoses for the A/C & Heater run through where the Fan motor used to be up under the Fender. As you can see it cleaned up that corner, but also hides the A/C at first glance. Everything for the A/C is hidden as is most of the Wiring. I have Custom Stainless fasteners throughout, most are Button Head and some have these Polished Raised Washers.

This is the Polished Oil cooler mounted to the rad cradle. Braided Stainless hoses are used and an Oil Temp gauge has been added. I also added a Power Steering cooler w/braided lines just below the Rad on the Engine side. With the New Spoiler up Front it adds to the Cooling. The Vintage Air Condensor is also between the Oil Cooler and the Rad, with the Cover over the Rad Cradle it is very hard to see.  An Edelbrock 160gph Quiet flow Electric Pump.

The sexiest '69 I've ever seen! Pro-touring is definitely the best look for a muscle car. Really love that color and no-chrome look. Those rims also compliment the car as well for that fast, yet subtle look. I love it, man. Hope you have a lot of fun with it. 5 stars and a favorite for sure!
