UPDATE Feb 2008: Well I am at it again, I have the car torn down again. This winter I am going to step it up again, I am completely re-doing the Stereo with a new Amp and DVD player and 3 7" LCD screens. Also I am replacing all of the speakers in the car. I am going into the suspension with a bunch of new Race Parts for better handling. I am also going to make the switch from a Hyd. Roller cam to a Solid Roller, The largest job has not been started yet, I am adding a complete Vintage Air kit. No more sweat on the Hot days. I will get some new pics soon, thanks for looking.

I have taken on a few very large projects this spring, I have finally bought the new Dart Pro 1 Platinums, the heads are now on and the car is running again. I have bought the new MSD E-Curve programable distributor and SS Blaster coil that should help me dial in the advance curve. I also am re-doing the entire front suspension, CPP Tublular Control arms, QA1 Coilover Conversion, CPPs 2" Dropped Spindles, CPPs Master Cyl and Wilwood Gen III Aluminum Calipers. New Tubular fully adjustable rear lower arms(heim ends) and QA1 shocks. I also added a jack screw setup for the rear coils so I can fine tune the rear height. These parts should completely change the handling for the better. I added a Power Steering cooler and some other cool parts. I also bought a pair of new racing Seats and had to custom fabricate the addition of my power seat track from my old seats. I even bought a Pioneer DVD with Motorized 7" Widescreen and a 5.1 processor plus 3 more 7" Screens to add the stereo. So stay tuned for a ton of new pics.

1969 Chevelle

This is my 1969 Chevelle that started out as a 6cyl/2spd no optioned car. It was my $800.00 winter beater for 6 years so it was in very rough shape. This is the first car that I purchased, in 1989. I have done most of the work myself with help from family & friends. The car now has a 355 roller motor,350 turbo,12 bolt w/ 4whl discs & 17" Eagle Alloys. The car handles awesome, the new motor is very strong. It took 7 years to get the car together and painted, but it was not finished. Every winter I add more to the car that I could not afford the first time around. I have added just about everything power option there is. The car has won numerous awards at car & sound shows.

Here is a brand new pic of the new lower ride height with all of my new Suspension parts installed, it is about 1" lower. I will be posting a bunch of new pics when I get it sorted out. Drivetrain is a 355 - Bowtie heads, Comp Roller/350 turbo - 3000 stall w/12 bolt 3:73 posi.

Future plans: Air Conditioning(happening right now), Wilwood(just on the front), Tubular Front A-Arms(done), T56 or 480LE Overdrive and a DVD player(done).


This is at our local Cruise Night. We get between 2 to 300 hundred cars on a good night.
The door handles, marker lights, bumper bolts, trunk lock, firewall & the inner wheelwells have been shaved. Just about everything on the body has been replaced. The doors, roof and the firewall are the only original panels left. Most of the panels are southern US or new. The fibreglass hood is a 4" Outlaw Cowl from Harwood. The front bumper has been fully customized by me. The paint is GM Med. Saphire Blue.

All of the grill & trim are new and painted body colour. The bumper has 2 Driving lights sunk into it. The stock signals have been moved. Aluminum mesh now covers the openings. The signals have been moved to the lower edge of the bumper and LED 1157 Bulbs, you can see them in the one pic. I also added new Clear Glass Headlights with H4 Bulbs(soon to HIDs). There is also a new Polished Oil cooler mounted in front of the rad w/ A/N & braided lines. The car is lowered 2 1/2" and has a 1 1/4" sway bar on the front w/KYB shocks. All bushings are Polyurethane from Energy Suspension.

I finally got around to customizing the rear bumper. I recessed the SS Chrome Tips up into the bumper and shaved the bumper bolts. It really cleans up the back of the car. The rear has a third brake light recessed into the rear panel. The rear talights are now full LEDs, and 1156 LEDS for the backup lights. The gas tank has a sump and is baffeled to control the gas and keep it in the sump. The A-N braided hose feeds the Russell filter, Holley Blue pump and there is a full return system to keep the pump and the fuel cooler. There are 3" lowering coils and chromemoly lower control arms w/adjustable uppers(new) w/1" sway bar and KYB shocks. All bushings & body mounts are Polyurethane from Energy Suspension.

The rear view shows the new bumper. The Exhaust tips have been recessed into the bumper for a cleaner look. The trunk lock has been shaved also. The new LED tailights are very bright and quick to react to the brake pedal.

Eagle Alloy Series 212 17x8 w/245/40/17 Kuhmos on the front. Cross drilled rotors and performance pads work alot better than the Drum brakes they replaced. Eagle Alloys Series 212 17x8 w/285/40/17 Goodyear GSCs(will be matching Kuhmos soon) on the rear. Rear rotors are also cross drilled with the same pads.

This is a Second gear burnout just around the corner from my house. I had to let off as the cross road is not that far. The new motor is working awesome and I will get some shots of the car soon. My Dad was right behind me in his S10, so I walked back to get the pic.(25-07-04)
