~PROJECTS~

Here's what I currently have on the back burner...

90 Probe GL tail lights. As you can see, the locks and eblems have been shaved. They just need to be primed and painted. The lenses will bee Candy Apple Red and cleared so there'll be no orange. Red on white = tight! Right pic show the current progress of this mod. I've shaved the lock and added a updated "GT" designation. More to come.

~FINISHED PROJECTS~
Turbogt22's 1989 Ford Probe13.8lb 16"x8" FD rims from a 1993 RX7 FD3S, twin turbo. They look better, weigh much less and, will fit with much wider tires than the stock ones.
Turbogt22's 1989 Ford ProbeKumho Ecsta Supra 712's 225/50VR 16's mounted and balance under load. I chose the V rated(150mph) tire vs. the W rated(169mph) tire for the improved tradwear characteristics (340 vs. 280). Got them for a good price at Tirerack.com. They're great tires and they feature a rim protector (the rim lip sits below the tire face) as well as incredible performance capabilities.

Turbogt22's 1989 Ford Probe7/16" Wheel spacers and hardened ARP wheel studs. The back spacing on the stock wheels is 48mm. The FD's have a 50mm back spacing. This means I need 8mm spacers to make these fit. I opted for 7/16" (about 11mm or almost 1/2") Because I want them to fit flush with the body (side) of my car and also if I decide to add on camber plates.

Sometimes you just need a little inspiration. Here are some pics that get me thinking...

Turbogt22's 1989 Ford Probe Dual headlights for the 2nd gen RX7. They look sweet...
Turbogt22's 1989 Ford Probe I love the look of the FC3S 2nd gen RX7. Maybe something similar would be fun.
Turbogt22's 1989 Ford Probe Here's a PS I did using a Probe with the Andy's Autosport kit on it. I added a wing and removed some holes. I'll probably add a scoop later. I would love my car to look like this.

I hope you enjoyed checking out my ride. If there is any info or pics you think I'm missing, let me know. Also, don't forget to sign my guestbook!
