These are just a few shots of the second pinto in my life.
I was brought into the light quite hesitantly at first by my then girlfriend now wife Jessica. She was the "proud" owner of a horse shit brown 1980 Ford Pinto, (rather identical to this one), affectionatley named Bob,this thing had a mind of its own at the best of times and after one of the accidents it was in the time came to have the insurance company look at it. That day "Bob" was not starting, period. It was like he knew his fate was at hand.In the end he was still on the road and only slightly worefor wear but the car had seen better days with her behind the wheel, and when she hit a concrete post in a parking lot it was time to retire him. Currently sitting in a relatives backyard he awaits a glorious resurection. In the meantime we found this one "Bob 2" for sale privately. The guy was just more than happy to have it off his property and so for $100cdn we had the car. It ran rough and still does but afte only a new fuel pump it has carried me to work for about 1 1/2 years now. In fact it just had its first actual oil change just last week(it burns and leaks so bad the oil kinda changes itself.
Now I want to start restoring it and with an almost identical parts car at my disposal I think I have a good chance.
Enough backroundhere are some pics......

Above is some pretty heavy damage on the fender but the one off the other car is good.

The white paint on the wheel well is from when i hit my fence this winter. And the bumber dates back to last winter when it wouldn't start so I got pissed off and rammed it with my delta 88 to push it out of the alley.

As you can see the interior is pretty rough. The seats have been switched and the wiring pretty hacked up.

Some idiot spray painted the whole inside black which is now peeling away and has weakend the stiching and the headliner has started to rip.

The back seat was spray painted silver and is peeling. (What kind of MORON sprays the interior of a car????)

Here you get a shot of how bad the wiring is and the piece together job I did just to have a radio for the commute.

I'll have to get some new pis up soon i have just about finished the interior as best i can on the budget i have. Only the door panels and headliner left.
The pony hasn't been running in about 2 months the timing jumped on me and i just haven't had time to fix it properly. hope to have all of it together before winter hits though. Should give me a couple months to figure stuff out.
