Fast Forward Supercharger ( Coldside )

inspector10k's 1995 Mazda Miata

This has been a long time coming but it's almost here! I've been getting ready for a long time with upgrades so that BlackStar will be able to make the most of his new found power once he has it.

In anticipation of the SC I've installed FM rails and Butterfly, Koyo 55mm radiator and adjustable timing gears (when I did the belt)

Before installing the SC I hope to install Mazdaspeed motor mounts and Walbro 190 lph fuel pump. If not they will be put in at the same time.

With the install, an extra set of stock fuel injectors (from EBay)serviced at Marren Fuel Injection and two 12" Spal HP fans 1630 CFM each.

Some of you may find this interesting.

Waiting in the wings and I suspect to be installed not too long after the supercharger a Fidanza lightweight Flywheel and ClutchNet clutch and Pressure Plate that IIRC is good to either 220 or 250 HP and "should" feel more or less like the stock clutch, I'll let you know.

Just cut my extra Cam cover so I can adjust the adjustable gears. It will either be powder coated or wrinkled paint painted. I used a Dremel and heavy duty cut-off wheel # 420. It took 9 or 10 of them to cut it.

Here it is!

I'm also on the look out for a '95 stock ECU so I can do the crystal mod to raise the rev limit. I've always wanted to be able to do 60 in second gear

I'll edit and give details when I'm all finish but for now here are some up to date pictures

The one on the left is with the stock thin spacer, the one on the right is with the FFS thicker spacer. Using either one of those by themselfs the pulley rests on the other pulley.

In the bottom photo I used both spaces and it the pulley come out a little it looks good to me but can you tell for sure, TOM? The last photo shows the nose pulley in person it looks like they line up, in the photo it looks a little strange.

Below are some photo's so I know I'm making progress

With all the slack taken out, it's still this loose

inspector10k's 1995 Mazda Miata

The one on the left is with the gas all the way to the floor, and the one on the right is how much is left to open the throttle to full

This last one is the only thing I can think to do to fix it. Which is drill a hole more or less where my finger is and move the pulley there.
