1971 HQ GTS Coupe

This is my 1971 HQ GTS. The paint is Bordeaux Red with Blue Pearl clear over. It runs sweet as with the late model injected motor under the hood. The car took me about 4 years to do a ground up rebuild, and I’m real happy with end product.

Engine ModsIt now runs a Toyota 1UZFE V8 with twin Garett GT2871 turbo's,the plenum has been modified to mate with a GM throtle body,Toyota Beams 3SGE injectors feed the fuel thru the standard fuel rails.I fabricated the custom exhaust headers with twin 3" exhaust system made at a local shop. All this is run by a Kalmaker ECU (modified GM Delco).
