2K2 Maxima - ROAD TO DEATH!

My 2k2 Maxima went through hell and back. 5 flat tires, mechanical/electrical problems, etc. etc. Until finally it was crashed after 7 months of ownership.

Flat Tire Incident
When my car was new, for some reason, some prick decided to deflate my passenger side tires. Boy I was pissed. Fortunately, they let the air out, and not slashed. Had her towed to the gas station, filled her back up, no problems.

DEATH OF MY 2K2 MAXIMA!!
Well, I owned the car from May 2002 to January 30, 2003 (My FREAKIN BIRTHDAY). Car only had 32,000kms, and it was written off by the insurance company, with damages estimated @ 17,000 CDN.

This is what happened:
Accelerated from a light, reached about 90km/h (speed limit 80km/h) in the left lane of a two lane road. I see in a distance, a truck making a left in front of me, well he inches up but does not make the turn as he sees me coming. Well he waits and waits, and as I am going to pass him, he proceeds to make a turn in front. I tried to move to the right lane, however some lady made a right turn into that lane, so my choices were limited, so i decided to hit the truck. Airbags DID not deploy as the trucks frame was higher than the bumper. I walked away clean, no injuries (impact speed about 80km/h). Car was still running, and driveable, but later died as a result of harness being hacked. Insurance deemed it not my fault, therefore my premiums did not increase. So I bought a new 2k3 Nissan Maxima! Worked out perfect!

You love those fancy grilles, dontcha? Damn, that accident sucked, did you get insurance money for it? Did the other guy get sued? You gotta tell me where that pothole is so I don't hit it too, lol.

Nice ride, like your setup with the XBox you were talking about, did the same with mine, though I am not finished, going to do a little fiberglassing to make it look like it is built into the car totally. Drop by some time and check mine out.

Hey nice new Katana rims. Those Katanas and the ones I have right now on my Max were the ones I was gonna go for when I was buying rims. So I went with the ones that are on my car now, but those Katanas and mine both look very good. Well I just had a question about your steering wheel controls. How did you connect those to make them work with that LCD screen? Did you grond them or something? Cause when I put my LCD pioneer Avic-N1, those steering controls stoped working. I wish I could do somthing about it, can you help me? thanks. I'll see you on ORG.
