This is my car; a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1. My Dad and I have been restoring the car since I was fifteen. I am currently 20 and going to school part time at Preston Ridge CCCCD in Frisco. The car was parked becasue the restoration was only partly finished. I threw it together so I could drive it to my Senior Prom is 2005. A few months after that i parked it so i could pull the motor out and do a proper rebuild, restore and clean up the engine compartment and renew all of the suspension and drivetrain. The car right now has a rebuilt 351W 4v with a T-5 and 9" rear with 4 wheels disc brakes. It is expected to be finished early spring 2008. Most of the pictures on this site show what the car looked like when I drove it in 05. The pictures on this first page show the current updates.

3-22-06 These are some pictures of the progress I've made in the past couple of months. I installed my adjustable Global West monte carlo bar, completed my radiator support and battery tray modifications, installed my Flame Thrower coil, started fitting my Griffin radiator and new AC condensor, and finally got my quarter windows properly installed with all new chrome including the frame, as well as all new drip rail molding and boomerang moldings. The radiator support was highly modefied. I cut it back about 3/4 or an inch to make room for the larger radiator, electric fan and shroud. I also filled in the spaces that could be seen through the grill on each side of the radiator, relocated the horns, welded up all uneccesary holes, and I body worked the top or the support where the hood pins are located. It still needs maybe one more coat of paint.

March 2006- This is what I started with for the AC system. this was all bought from a 69 coupe in a junk yard about to be crushed. I had to fix a few small cracks, do an extreme cleaning and rebuild the system with a new heater core, evaporator, and all of the internal doors. I will post pictures of the refurbished AC system once it is installed in the car.
2-26-06 This is where I am at with my AC dash instalation. I cleaned off all of the old tar, painted everything with eastwood rust encapsulator, seam sealed all of the seams, painted the seams again with eastwood, and then put on the new firewall mat. You can also see the rust free cowl. Dynamat x-tream was used on all of the floor. All of the edges were sealed with aluminum backed tape to keep water out from the seams and to cover the sticky edges of the dynamat. The floors were all coated with eastwood and seam sealed before the dynamat was installed. In the sail panel area, the dynamat was stuck on by only the edges, with the paper backing left on so nothing like dirt etc sticks to the backside. My mini fire extinguisher is mounted right under the dash within reaching distance but not very visable.
