This car is now FOR SALE. I have to sell due to military relocation. I love this car and don't wish to part with it, but I cannot afford two cars.... My loss is you gain as I am selling it dirt cheap. E-mail me for more info: email@example.com.
Heres the bird when I got it- All Stock. 50,000 orig mi. 5.0 (non-HO), Aod Auto, 8.8~ 2.73 locker rear. I'm the Second owner- my Grandfather bought it new in 1988. ......and now-Isn't it Purdy?
I actully lowered it about 1/4" too much- it rubs slightly when turning the wheel all the way one direction. I'm gonna get different springs for the front soon. The original wheels look good and all, but how can you not love the Pony's!?
Tint!! I got Window Tinting on all windows-
Here the Bird is pissing with some vettes at the Corvette birthplace, GM's Bowling Green Plant in KY.......
Here's the Bird at the Pacific Ocean =]
In the parking lot the Bird rests.... notice the
GSX-R \750 some dude was going cross-country on?!?!
Driving thru New Mexico...... (Not a joke, but we are all a little weird)
Now with the new FoMoCo "C" Springs
I got CHE Adjustable lower control arms to adjust the rear height install & pics soon!
Engine as it stands now I added a Holley 155lph in tank fuel pump, so it was running rich at even 35psi. I needed to get more air into the engine to compensate, so on goes the intake kit and Cobra manifold! I just added the 1 1/2" shorty hedders and full 2 1/2" exhaust (BBK H-pipe w/cats, Jegs Cat-back). I also added a complete new cooling system with Chrome Edlebrock water pump, Griffen Alum Radiator, and Ford Police hoses to fight to Georgia heat. While in there, I added underdrive pulleys and the MSD Coil.
Got some work done on the Tranny- When I asked my tranny guy to "make it strong, and not kick too hard", all he did was laugh manically..... I'm scared.
It may be awhile before the install, but I got my set of Trick flow heads and 1990 5.0 H.O. Mustang engine waiting for installation.... I'll post new pics soon!
