This is my 2001 Daewoo Lanos it has a 1.5 SOHC engine and i got some mods done to it, nothing really extreme as i am taking this step by step.
Major current mods are aimed at the braking system... "learn how to land before you learn how to fly".. as for power upgrades i am considering few options ranging from engine swap to going forced induction... no decision is made yet.
the other area of mods is the suspension and wheels/tires department... recently acquired a set of 15" rims and 195/50/15 tires, also added a front strut bar which dramatically changed how the car handles in corners.
The styling mods are quite minimal as i am not into looks... most of those mods are focused on the interior... no harm for the woo to look cool though ;) also upgraded the sound system and got some pics for the components.

There is one thing You should do :)
Put the car near our Mother Earth ;)
Nice job with stock engine!!
thaks my man... the problem here is that the roads are in bad condition so lowering the car will lead to loads of bottoming down :(
so2al bs .. ana 3awez a3ml brakes elwara zy ely 3andak a3mel eh ?! w kaman oil cooler beyetwasal b eh ?
get the rear brake set of a 1994 opel vectra 2000cc or a 2004 opel astra... you would need to have 14" rims to be able to do so
details of both the front and rear upgrades can be found in both www.daewootech.com and www.nilemotors.com
the oil cooler would require either an adapter sandwich that fits between the oil filter and the block or drilling a supply port in the top bolt of the oil pump
thnx 4 ur reply..i cant find the adapter,,do you know from where to get it ? and if i got the front an rear brakes will i need any modifications or just take off the stock and replace them ? tnxx for your help and plzz join us of facebook " lanos club "
you can check at TPS garage (Adel Wagdy) in herafeen... he had an oil cooler kit for 250 or so
the brakes upgrade is a direct swap but you must have at least 14" rims to be able to do the upgrade... also a little modification to the hand brake cable might be required but other than that the upgrade is a direct swap
Great Job mohamed you are our leader, can i be silly and ask you from where did you get your strut bar?
it was a gift from a friend... he found it in a car at elwekala... i remember i saw one in herafeen as well but it was the OMP one not the Sharkracing one i got
