mmamdouhs 2001 Daewoo Lanos

This is my 2001 Daewoo Lanos it has a 1.5 SOHC engine and i got some mods done to it, nothing really extreme as i am taking this step by step.

Major current mods are aimed at the braking system... "learn how to land before you learn how to fly".. as for power upgrades i am considering few options ranging from engine swap to going forced induction... no decision is made yet.

the other area of mods is the suspension and wheels/tires department... recently acquired a set of 15" rims and 195/50/15 tires, also added a front strut bar which dramatically changed how the car handles in corners.

The styling mods are quite minimal as i am not into looks... most of those mods are focused on the interior... no harm for the woo to look cool though ;) also upgraded the sound system and got some pics for the components.

get the rear brake set of a 1994 opel vectra 2000cc or a 2004 opel astra... you would need to have 14" rims to be able to do so details of both the front and rear upgrades can be found in both www.daewootech.com and www.nilemotors.com the oil cooler would require either an adapter sandwich that fits between the oil filter and the block or drilling a supply port in the top bolt of the oil pump

you can check at TPS garage (Adel Wagdy) in herafeen... he had an oil cooler kit for 250 or so the brakes upgrade is a direct swap but you must have at least 14" rims to be able to do the upgrade... also a little modification to the hand brake cable might be required but other than that the upgrade is a direct swap

whats up i looked at your up grades and from the looks of it i dont think it runs 310hp. my car is estimated power im in the military and in germany and we dont have dyno machines here but i figured my exhuast bassani x pipe, and dyno max cat back 20hp hypertech 15hp march pullyes and ram air intake 20-25hp. but dont forget the motor on a gt mustang is 260hp but put the rest of the car on and your pushing 230 hp stock now and my estimated figure, well im pushing about 285-290 at the wheels write back with feedback
