-- 12-18-2008 UPDATE --

Rebuild going well.  Got a new shortblock in.  Mostly stock with shot peened rods and stock pistons.  Has upgraded bearings.  Also got in some Tokico Illumina 5-way adjustable shocks and Prokit springs.  Those will drop it pretty nice as well as improve the ride.  Adding a nice aftermarket steering wheel and racing harnesses.  Looking for a transmission now to switch it over from automatic to 5-speed manual.  We'll see how long it takes to put together.  More to come!

Things would get finished so much faster if I'd just quit spending money on assault rifles and computer games. Ah well. Expect LOTS up updated pics when we get the final few parts installed. Then....DYNO SHEETS! Lets see if that automatic tranny can hold together...

2\22\06 UPDATE:

1\1\06 - The Eclipse was wrecked. Stupid curb jumped out from nowhere and hit me sideways. Damage done was: 3 rims totalled, both sideskirts, a bit of frame damage behind the passenger side wheel well, and the passenger fender dented in slightly.

On the sunny side of things, I get all new paint on the car! I miss my baby after her being in the shop nearly two months, but when I get her back...oh yeah, we're heading to Florida!

that paints pretty cool looking and Im glad to see you kept the stock body lines as well as spending all that loot in the right places. (especially under the hood where it counts.) you should go into some nice suspension mods next it looks like she's gotta bit of fender gap. it'll make a huge difference in any driving situation especially off the line. great work man.
