astrovanboy's 1987 Chevrolet Astro

Well here is my 87 Chevy Astro. Just starting to do some work on it. Stereo is a little mix - matched but it sounds crisp with tight bass. Have some big plans for this beast....I'll update along the way.

My rims are on my van now....WEnt from the stock 205/75/15 to a 245/50/16. I got a deal on the rims and rubber. I'm trying to verify that they are actual Boyd Coddingtons...It's hard to find any of there stuff online. They did email me back telling me who originally bought the rims though...ANy info that anyone has please do tell.

I picked up the Grant anti-theft device. Pretty handy...

I'm looking at lowering options....I thought about bagging it but a little pricy for my budget. The front end is a no brainer but there rear isn't. I have stock multi-leaf springs. Could go the flip kit method....also considering just flipping the springs upside down. Anyone ever done that??

Nice ride shes in good shape, you cant go wrong fixing her up! Go with dual 12! Check out my ride when you have time and let me know what the ground clearance is with the drop kit and how it handles! I was thinking about slamming mine! Keep the dream alive! jokerjamz@yahoo.ca

hey looks good those actually look like boyd rims but could be knock-offs... you could just remove one or two of the leafs but this does make then weaker probly flip kit would be most economical ...

I love when people hook big ass vans up. Keep me updated when you get more pics up. Feel free to stop by my site sometime and let me know what you think. Later.
