This is my 1983 Mustang GT. I bought the car in 1995 and have raced it since 1996. Yes I raced it with the stock motor. It ran a best of 14.6@93mph in stock form and then with a very mild 306 it ran 12.72@104mph. I decided to step it up a little with a 331 and rebuilt it and retired it from street duty in 2000. It has now ran a best of 10.50@128mph. The car is a really consistent car.
In 2006 it recieved a new 347 and its madien voyage was less than desirable with a burned up tranny and only a 6.6@105 in the 1/8 but with a promising 1.43 60ft.
June 2007 the car dipped into the 9 second zone with a 9.998@134mph. Still dome tuning left but should go deeper into the 9's.

Just a 347 nothing special.

This was taken at Cloberthon 5 in Houston Tx.

Here I am heating the tires up before making a pass at Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove Wisconsin.

this picture is from my first NMRA race in Joliet IL in 2003. I went to the Semifinals in Open Comp.

I wish the exhuast still looked this clean and shiny but wear and tear takes its toll.
