DIY CLEARED HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY

**Turn on you lights and mark the highest point that you light make on the wall**

**This is because you may have to re-align your headlights afterwards**

Remove the plastic locking things at the locations shown above. I just used a flat head screwdriver and slightly pryed them off.

There's also more underneath the car. Just follow the bumper. Then there is 1 screw on each side of the front fenders.

After you get the top part off and the side screws and the ones in the bottom...your ready to pull the bumper off. They snap in place right under the headlight assembly. Don't worry you don't have to pull too hard. It'll just snap right off. Then it'll look like this..

Now your getting closer to removing the Headlight Assembly.

There's 6 bolts total that needs to be removed (All of which uses a 10mm socket). Then it just pulls right off. Disconnect all the lights and take the Headlight Assembly someplace where you could pry it open.

First remove the bracket that holds the bumper and the Headlight assembly to the car.

I had my wife help me on this part. Grab a flat head screwdriver and start prying

Use a heat gun to loosen up the sticky gasketting. As you are prying it more and more use a razor to cut it, to keep it from sticking back together as much.

When you get it open you have to remove a phillips head screw that holds the Plastic chrome piece that has the amber on it

As soon as that's off, slightly bend it. This will make little amber piece stick up a little (Enough to use a flat head screwdriver to pry it out)
**This is also a time to paint it Black for Black Headlight Housing!!!

**Before putting it all back together, make sure to wipe down fingerprints or any smudges on the Headlight.. you don't wanna have to open them again!!
Then just put everything back together. A tip when you put the headlight assembly back is to use some pliers to squeeze it back together so that way it'll make a good seal.

After everything is put back.. you're gonna have to realign you headlights up or down.
