This is my 1953 Willus Jeep its a M38A1 military edition. I just recently bought it for $1800, and it runs strong and nothing major is wrong with it, only minor rust and the wiring needs to be redone, and a paint job which i will eventually repaint original military green with the 3 stars.

It is completly stock except for the wheels(obviously) and the seats and seatbelts are from a early model mustang.

Last year the engine riped a hole in the side of the cylinder wall from pressure and so i had to get a new block/engine and since i got one finally i have had it put in and completly wired and setup there is only a few things left to do and it will be ready to drive again...

Hate to tell ya this, but it may not be a military Jeep! Military jeeps had a 9 slot grill not a 7, although it may have recived a different civilian grill

I like it. Have you thought about what you are going to do to it? A stock military restore would be awesome (and considerably cheaper than hot-roddin it)! Flashy paint and wheels etc will make you less likely to use the thing for what it was made for!
